Job summary

RVNAhealth, a nonprofit healthcare provider in Ridgefield, CT, seeks an experienced Grant Writer to join the Philanthropy team. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional grant writing experience.
• Proven success securing grants from foundations, corporations, and/or government agencies.
• Excellent writing, editing, and research skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data for grants.
• Experience developing or collaborating on grant budgets.
• Proficiency with donor database software and grant research platforms.

Responsibilities

• Identify funding opportunities and manage grant proposals from prospecting to post‑award reporting.
• Write letters of inquiry, grant applications, narratives, and proposals.
• Collaborate with leadership and program teams to develop budgets.
• Maintain grant calendars, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
• Prepare interim and final grant reports per funder requirements.
• Maintain donor records and coordinate acknowledgments.
