Job summary

RVNAhealth is seeking an experienced Grant Writer to join our Philanthropy team in Ridgefield, CT. The part-time role (3 days a week) focuses on researching, writing, submitting, and managing grant proposals that support home health, hospice, rehabilitation, wellness, and community health services across Fairfield and Litchfield Counties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional grant writing experience.
• Demonstrated success securing grants from foundations, corporations, and/or government agencies.
• Exceptional professional writing, editing, and research skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to research, interpret, and synthesize data.
• Experience developing or collaborating on grant budgets.

Responsibilities

• Identify funding opportunities and manage grant processes from prospect research through post-award reporting.
• Research and identify government, corporate, and foundation grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities.
• Write letters of inquiry, grant applications, narratives, and proposals to support programs.
• Collaborate with staff to develop project budgets that accompany grant proposals.
• Maintain grant calendars, deadlines, submissions, renewals, and reporting requirements.
• Prepare and submit interim and final grant reports per grantor requirements.
