Job summary

City of Morgan Hill is seeking a part-time GIS Analyst to collect, edit, and audit geospatial data in an Enterprise GIS environment. You will create maps and tables using ArcGIS Pro and Excel, help develop SOPs, and assist with staff training and technical support.

The role emphasizes independent work and teamwork in a part-time, temporary, non-benefited setting with potential telework alignment after trial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in GIS, Geography, or a closely related discipline with GIS coursework
• One year’s professional experience in GIS OR Master’s level coursework in GIS OR GIS Certificate
• Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Software
• Possess valid California Driver’s License

• Desktop GIS - Data Development and Improvement: collect, edit, analyze, and audit geospatial data using ArcGIS Pro; update geometry, attributes, metadata; add new spatial data; QA/QC enterprise data
