Job summary
Brigade Health, in partnership with Access Healthcare Associates, seeks a Psychiatry (MD/DO) specializing in geriatric behavioral health for a flexible part-time role. Qualifications
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Experience with geriatric populations, memory care, or senior behavioral health preferred.
- Strong collaboration and mentorship within interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Serve as collaborating and supervising Psychiatrist for NP and other clinicians.
- Provide clinical consultation for complex geriatric behavioral health cases including dementia-related needs.
- Be available for urgent telemedicine consultations and clinical guidance.
- Lead regular interdisciplinary case reviews and educational discussions.
- Participate in in-person rounding about one day per week across partner communities.
- Conduct in-person and telepsychiatry evaluations as appropriate.
- Maintain physician visibility across Ventura County and Los Angeles senior living communities.
- Collaborate with caregivers, staff, primary care, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to program development, quality improvement, and clinical leadership.
