Job summary
Access Healthcare Associates (AHA) is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to support geriatric behavioral health in assisted living across Ventura County and Los Angeles. The role is flexible part-time, remote with field visits, roughly 10–12 hours per week, and includes supervisory responsibilities for Geri-Psych providers.
The ideal candidate will have an active CA license, experience with dementia-related behaviors, and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary
Qualifications
- MD or DO with completed Psychiatry residency and CA license.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Experience with geriatrics, dementia care, or memory care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical consultation and supervision for geriatric behavioral health cases.
- Participate in in-person rounding about one day per week and telepsychiatry visits.
- Collaborate with caregivers, assisted living staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
