Job summary
Access Healthcare Associates (AHA) is seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible Psychiatrist to support geriatric behavioral health across Ventura County and Los Angeles in a flexible part-time, remote-plus-field role.
Responsibilities include supervising geriatric providers, psychiatric consultations, telepsychiatry, and periodic in-person rounding with strong collaboration among interdisciplinary teams. California license required.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with Psychiatry residency completed.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Active, unrestricted California medical license.
Responsibilities
- Serve as supervising Psychiatrist for geriatric providers and clinicians.
- Provide clinical consultation for complex geriatric behavioral health cases.
- Be available for provider questions, guidance, and urgent telemedicine consultations.
- Conduct regular interdisciplinary case reviews and educational discussions.
- Participate in in-person rounding approximately one day per week.
- Maintain visibility across Ventura County and Los Angeles communities.
- Collaborate with caregivers, primary care providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to program development, quality improvement, and leadership.
