Job summary

Rose Senior Living is seeking a part-time Activity Partner at the Somerfield Health Center at The Heritage in Brentwood, TN. This role involves assisting the Activities Director in planning and implementing recreational activities for senior residents in a skilled nursing facility.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED and have experience working with the geriatric population. Proficiency in computer skills, especially Microsoft Word, is also required. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is a must.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer experience working with the geriatric population.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a therapeutic recreation assistant under the Activities Director.
• Plan recreation programs based on individual needs and interests.
• Direct the movement of residents to and from recreational areas.
• Prepare and maintain daily participation logs and schedules.
• Maintain accurate documentation of residents' progress and responses.

Skills

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word

Experience working with geriatric population

Experience in social or recreational programs

Education
