Job summary

Somerfield Health Center at The Heritage at Brentwood is seeking a part-time Activity Partner to assist with the planning and execution of recreational activities for senior residents in a 66-bed skilled nursing facility on The Heritage campus.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and favors experience with geriatric populations; strong computer skills including Word are preferred. Benefits include referral bonuses, DailyPay, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Experience working with geriatric population preferred.
• Experience in social or recreational program for licensed health care setting preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Activity Partners serve as therapeutic recreations assistants under the Activities Director for skilled nursing facility and assisted living facility residents.
• Review resident activity needs and plan recreation programs based on individual needs and resident interest, including music, art, discussion groups, re-motivation therapy, sensory stimulation, and other special entertainment.
• Directs movement of residents to and from recreational areas.
• Prepares and maintains daily participation logs and schedules in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintains accurate documentation of residents’ progress and responses to programs.

$15.00 per hour pay - 20 hours per week

Schedule will include weekends and holidays as well as 1-2 flex days during the week
