Job summary

The Heritage at Brentwood is seeking a part-time Activity Partner to help plan and implement a range of recreational activities for senior residents in a 5-star skilled nursing and assisted living campus. The role supports residents' well-being through varied programs and activities.

Position requires a HS diploma or GED; geriatric experience is preferred, with basic computer skills including Word. Weekend and holiday coverage is included, with 1–2 flex days. Pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with geriatric population preferred.
• Experience in social or recreational program for licensed health care setting preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Activity Partners serve as therapeutic recreations assistants under the Activities Director for skilled nursing facility and assisted living facility residents.
• Review resident activity needs and plan recreation programs based on individual needs and resident interest, including music, art, discussion groups, re-motivation therapy, sensory stimulation, and other special entertainment.
• Directs movement of residents to and from recreational areas.
• Prepares and maintains daily participation logs and schedules in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintains accurate documentation of residents’ progress and responses to programs.

$15.00 per hour pay - 20 hours per week
