Job summary

The Attending Physician, General Medicine at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital provides part-time ambulatory care to adults in a primary care setting. The role is within an interdisciplinary health team and includes teaching and CME participation.

The position requires MD or DO, Illinois license, and Internal Medicine residency with board eligibility/certification. Flexible hours with travel to Cook County Health sites are expected.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Illinois physician license required.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Residency in Internal Medicine completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide part-time ambulatory care to adults in the primary care setting.
• Work with interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Travel to Cook County Health worksites as needed.
• Chart patient visits and participate in teaching activities.
• Maintain CME and participate in professional activities.
