Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. is seeking a part-time Fill Plant Operator at our Tullahoma, TN facility. The role focuses on manufacturing compressed gas and liquid products, including pre-fill inspection, filling, labeling and quarantine analysis prior to shipment.

You will follow SOPs, ensure cylinders meet specifications, handle lifting of 75–100 lbs, and maintain accurate paperwork while complying with cGMP, HazMat and OSHA standards. Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to read gauges and analog dials.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and follow SOPs.
• Ensure manifolds meet specifications daily.
• Perform pre-fill inspections and fill cylinders.
• Label cylinders correctly and complete paperwork.
• Move cylinders and ensure regulatory compliance (cGMP, HazMat, OSHA).
