Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. is hiring a part-time Fill Plant Operator at our Tullahoma, TN facility. The role focuses on manufacturing compressed gas and liquid products, including pre-fill inspection, filling, labeling, and final QC checks prior to shipment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be able to read gauges, lift 75–100 lbs, and follow SOPs with attention to safety and regulatory compliance. Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow all SOPs.
• Ensure manifold meets specifications daily.
• Perform pre-fill inspections and fill cylinders per SOP.
• Label cylinders correctly and complete paperwork.
• Maintain safety compliance with cGMP, HazMat, OSHA, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

American Welding & Gas, Inc. has an immediate part time opening for a Fill Plant Operator at our facility in Tullahoma, TN.

Position Summary:

This position will have the primary responsibility for the manufacturing of compressed gas and liquid products, which includes pre-fill inspection of cylinders, filling, labeling and analysis or quarantine of cylinders prior to release for shipment.

Fill Plant Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
• Ensure manifold meets required specifications (daily).
• Ensure all cylinder’s pass required pre-fill inspections prior to filling.
• Fill cylinders as outlined in the SOP.
• Move compressed gas or liquid cylinders.
• Correctly label cylinders.
• Ensure completion and accuracy of paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, HazMat, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to read and interpret gauges and analog dials.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders.
• Forklift skills and experience a plus.
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs.
• Must be detail-oriented, flexible and work well with other people.
• Ability to perform duties in a safety-conscious manner with minimal supervision.
