American Welding & Gas, Inc. is seeking a Fill Plant Operator for our Baytown, TX facility. The role involves pre-fill inspection, filling, labeling, and quarantine checks for compressed gas and liquid products, with responsibilities including moving cylinders and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will read SOPs, interpret gauges, and have the ability to lift 75–100 lbs., with forklift experience considered a plus. Strong teamwork and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read and interpret gauges and analog dials.
• Must be able to move and lift 75–100 lbs.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow all SOPs.
• Ensure manifold meets required specifications daily.
• Ensure all cylinders pass pre-fill inspections prior to filling.
• Fill cylinders according to SOP.
• Move compressed gas or liquid cylinders.
• Label cylinders correctly.
• Complete and accurate paperwork.
• Comply with cGMP, HazMat, OSHA, and related regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
