Carriage Services in Alexandria, VA is seeking a part-time Funeral Assistant to join our team. You will support Funeral Directors and location staff to ensure services run smoothly and families' expectations are exceeded.

In this role, you will warmly greet families, escort them to chapels, prepare spaces, handle memorial materials, and coordinate with staff to maintain a professional, caring environment. This position requires empathy, strong communication, and physical ability to lift up to 75

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to grow market share through local involvement.

Mansioni

• Greet and direct client families and their guests.
• Escort families to the correct chapel or parlor.
• Direct visitors to guest book and memorial materials.
• Answer questions and assist with client families and visitors.
• Represent the business professionally and caring.
• Receive and place flowers in chapels or parlors.
• Ensure refreshments are available to families and guests.
• Prepare public spaces prior to scheduled services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
