Responsibilities

• Prepare chapels and viewing areas, including flowers, lighting, and seating.
• Assist with dignified placement and movement of caskets and the deceased.
• Distribute guest books, memorial cards, prayer cards, and service materials.
• Serve as a pallbearer or assist in ceremonial roles as needed.
• Greet and guide guests and mourners during visitations and services.
• Transport deceased individuals to the funeral home or designated facility; drive funeral vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of public spaces, chapels, and vehicles.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as delivering documents or scheduling.
