Job summary

Bandera Funeral Chapel in Bandera, TX is seeking a Part-Time Removal Technician to care for and transport human remains in accordance with all policies. The role is on an as-needed basis with a 2 hour minimum for night or weekend removals and a $125 bonus per removal; the typical schedule is normally 1 week on and 1 week off.

You will perform removals from hospitals, nursing homes, or residences, ensure vehicles are maintained, and follow universal precautions and regulations while providing

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent is required.
• Minimum of six months' work experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Care for deceased in a respectful manner.
• Perform removals from hospital, nursing home or residence to transport to funeral home.
• Maintain clean removal vehicle and manage supplies.
• Adhere to licensing and safety regulations.
