Job summary

St Augustine's College of Theology is seeking a part-time fundraiser to develop and lead fundraising initiatives, including alumni giving, major donor cultivation, and grant applications. You will work with the leadership team to secure support for scholarships, faculty development, new programs, and other college projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising, grant writing or donor engagement.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of the Church of England and theological education.
• Ability to work independently and strategically.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fundraising strategy to increase income from trusts, foundations, and individual donors.
• Research and write compelling grant applications.
• Oversee regular communication with current and potential donors, including alumni society.
• Organise fundraising events and campaigns.
• Work collaboratively with senior staff and trustees to achieve fundraising targets.
