Base pay range

$32.00/hr - $37.00/hr

Our client, a respected real estate investment firm based in Chicago, is looking for a part-time accountant to assist with their fund accounting group. This role can be fully remote and will focus on assisting with tax preparation, reporting, and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Prepares journal entries, account analysis and work papers for individual trusts and related partnerships
• Compiles scheduled reporting for internal review by trust owners
• Coordinates movement of cash for capital calls and distributions, quarterly tax payments, and expenses
• Assists with tax return preparation
• Communicates regularly with trust owners

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 2 years experience in general accounting
• Tax related experience or experience with financial investments is preferred
• Experience with Skyline Property Management System would be a nice plus
• Coordinates movement of cash for capital calls and distributions, quarterly tax payments, and expenses
