$35.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Location: Remote

Type: 20-30 hours weekly contract with possibility for FT hire in 2026

Reports to: Director of Finance & Accounting

We’re Looking for a Numbers-Savvy Operator Who Doesn’t Miss a Decimal.

You’ll be supporting a high-performing team as we scale, adapt, and drive meaningful financial transformation from the inside out.

Your Role at a Glance

You’ll own key components of our financial processes with accuracy, speed, and integrity. From managing AP/AR to reconciling bank transactions and collaborating with our contractors.

What You’ll Own

• QuickBooks Online Management

Maintain, organize, and analyze financial data in QBO with over 5 years of experience; use of classes required.

• Advanced Google Sheets Operations

Comfortable managing large datasets and applying pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF and other formulas with confidence.

• General Ledger Oversight

Keep accounts accurate, clean, and audit-ready.

• Accounts Receivable / Payable

Monitor incoming/outgoing payments, chase down loose ends, and keep the system flowing.

• Bank Reconciliations

Perform monthly reconciliations with extreme attention to detail.

• Contractor Communication

Engage with independent workers clearly and professionally—your written English is polished and precise.

Bonus points if you’ve handled multi-state or contractor payrolls before.

You Bring

• A proven history of independent work, self-direction, staying organized, and calm under pressure.
• A sharp eye for details others miss—and the tenacity to fix them.
• The ability to multitask without missing deadlines.
• A mind that naturally looks for solutions before problems become roadblocks.
• A strong ethical compass and deep understanding of confidentiality.
• Familiarity with GAAP principles (a plus, but not required).
• Deep Quickbooks Online understanding as well as the ability to learn custom software easily
• Familiarity with the Google Workspace environment and especially Google Sheets
• Familiarity with Slack (a plus but not required).
• A sense of humor. (a major plus but not required).

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Extensive Quickbooks Online Experience (5+ years), including use of classes
• Extensive Google Sheets experience using pivot tables, vlookup, sumif formulas as well as comfortable with large sets of data
• Written customer service skills in English- ability to communicate with contractors
• Past AR/AP experience
• General Ledger Management
