Job summary

Proof of the Pudding is seeking an Event Server to provide front-of-house support at the Douglasville Conference Center. You will assist in setting tables and buffet stations, serve and clear food and beverages, and coordinate with the banquet captain to deliver a flawless guest experience.

This part-time role requires 1+ year in banquet or Front-of-House experience, with high-volume catering preferred. Daily meals per shift, uniform adherence, and advancement opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a banquet or Front of House experience.
• Experience in high-volume catering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting tables completely according to diagram and/or sample table.
• Assist in setting buffet stations, which may include décor.
• Serve and clear food and beverage quietly, professionally, and quickly.
• Keep work area clean, and coordinate actions with the banquet captain to ensure flawless customer service.
• Manage time effectively.
• Assist in managing inventory of equipment and in the set up and breakdown of events.
• Report to the Banquet Captain and perform any tasks assigned to execute a flawless event.
• Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene.
• Perform other related duties as required.
