Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet customers and use their name when possible.
• Unload groceries from cart to belt and group items for bagging.
• Scan orders and handle payment transactions per standard practice.
• Follow bagging procedures and ensure correct use of bags by type.
• Report any register malfunctions to the supervisor or manager.
• Maintain a neat and clean front end area and store presentation.
• Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and standard practices.
