Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician to support our closed‑door pharmacy in long‑term care facilities. You will work with the pharmacist to ensure accurate dispensing and provide excellent customer service in a supportive team environment.

The role requires a certified/licensed pharmacy technician per state law, with 1+ year of experience. Part-time hours (~24 per week) and competitive benefits are available, including dental, vision, and wellness resources.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law.
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• PTCB National Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required.
• Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Assist in reviewing narcotic Rx’s to ensure timely processing.
• Providing dispensing pharmacist with allergy information, drug interactions, and potential duplications flagged by the system.
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records.
