Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician to support the medication dispensing process in our closed-door pharmacy. The role emphasizes accurate entry, teamwork with pharmacists, and high-quality customer service for a long-term care setting.

As a part-time position, up to 24 hours weekly, the role offers a generous benefits package. The pay range is $17.00–$31.30 per hour, with eligibility for various health, wellness, and employee programs depending on hours

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered Pharmacy Technician as required by state law.
• 1+ year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• High School Diploma or GED; PTCB Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders and assist in the medication dispensing process.
• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required.
• Verify correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Provide dispensing pharmacist with allergy/drug interaction information and flagged items.
• Create and maintain accurate customer records.
