Job summary

Cosentino’s Price Chopper in Liberty, MO is seeking a friendly Cashier to join our Front-End Team. This part-time role focuses on fast, accurate transactions and delivering excellent customer service while handling cash and operating the POS.

The ideal candidate will be able to multitask in a busy store, greet customers, maintain a clean checkout area, and follow all store policies. Weekend availability is preferred to support store needs.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of cash handling procedures.
• Working knowledge of cash register operation.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and quickly.
• Handle cash, make change, and balance the cash drawer.
• Assist customers with questions and maintain a clean checkout area.
• Follow procedures for different payment methods (cash, card, checks, gift cards).
• Promote sales by suggesting additional products or services.
• Train new cashiers as needed and support other store areas when directed.
