Job summary

Cosentino's Price Chopper in Liberty, MO is seeking a part-time Utility Clerk/Sacker to join our Front-End Team. You will bag groceries, assist customers to their vehicles, and help maintain tidy checkout areas while greeting customers.

The role reports to the Front-End Manager and requires strong customer service and clear communication. The position is on-site, with weekend availability preferred and opportunities to learn multiple store functions.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain a liquor license and or food handlers permit as required by the county within 14 days.
• Assist with bagging groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service: greet customers and offer assistance to their vehicle.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment including sales floor, breakroom, and check stands.
• Retrieve carts from the parking lot and ensure they are clean and operable.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Resolve customer inquiries or concerns by involving store management when needed.
• Follow alcohol and tobacco handling rules and sell guidelines.
• Multitask across multiple responsibilities and tasks.
• Prevent loss merchandise by checking carts for cashiers.
• Support other stores or departments and complete training as listed in Learning Plan.
