SpartanNash is hiring a part-time cashier at Family Fare in Allendale, MI. You will operate the cash register and scanner to itemize purchases, process payments, and assist in bagging while delivering courteous service.

You will handle a variety of products, follow store policies, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked department with attention to safety and guest experience guidelines.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• One year of prior retail or related experience preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills; ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.
• Good customer service and organizational skills; detail-oriented.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Operate cash register and electronic scanner to itemize customer purchases; handles a variety of products.
• Process financial transactions including cash, checks, credit cards, loyalty programs and coupons accurately.
• weigh and bag customer purchases.
• Understand use of check-stand equipment and its efficient operation.
• Responsible for front-end duties such as merchandising check-stand.
• Ensure proper use of PLU codes; report pricing or signage errors.
• Maintain knowledge of store programs and product locations.
• Communicate store programs, in-store specials and coupons to customers.
• Follow PPE and Safety Guidelines; maintain store cleanliness.
