SpartanNash is hiring for a Part-time Store Cashier at Family Fare in Harrison, Michigan. The role supports cash handling, front-end transactions, and adherence to store policies while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include balancing cash, handling receipts, and following safety and guest-experience guidelines. Requires basic math, reading/writing, and basic computer skills; prior cash-handling is a plus. Travel is variable.

Qualificações

• High school graduate or GED.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Suggestive selling or knowledge of products.
• Detail oriented.
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, etc.)

Responsabilidades

• Observe confidentiality of all company records and safeguard against unauthorized access to such information.
• Support front-end activities to help ensure cashiers follow store policies when handling transactions.
• Follow policies pertaining to the sale of alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and other restricted items.
• Accurately operate cash register, display costs, make change, cash checks, and issue receipts.
• Balance cash and media to ledger and ensure cash is controlled and safely deposited.
• Implement security and cash drawer accounting procedures.
• Maintain records on cash controls for internal audits.
• Follow PPE and Safety Guidelines, Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations, and Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need.
