Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and electronic scanner to itemize customer purchases; handles a variety of products and processes transactions accurately.
• Weigh and bag customer purchases; understand and use checkout equipment efficiently.
• Responsible for front-end duties such as merchandising check-stand and communicating store programs and coupons to customers.
• Maintain a clean and stocked department; follow PPE, safety and sanitation procedures.
• May assist with stocking items and cooperate with other departments as needed.
