Job summary

Mecklenburg County Park & Recreation is excited to add a Part Time Front Desk Recreation Assistant to the team at Eastway Regional Recreation Center. This role supports front desk operations, assists with membership promotion and enrollment, communicates facility policies to patrons, and provides tours and friendly customer service to our community.

The position requires no prior experience and offers a 19-hour-per-week schedule that may include daytime hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• No experience required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid NC or SC driver's license and County driving privileges; CPR/First Aid
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and handling of funds at the front desk
• Assist with membership promotion and enrollment
• Communicate facility policies to patrons
• Give tours of the facility and provide overall customer service
• Assist with recreation activities and special events as needed
