Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk in New York, NY. This role offers reliable hours at an assigned site with opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our platform.

Pay rate is $17.00 per hour with a fixed anchor shift and potential to increase earnings by taking additional shifts across sites. The position supports a pathway to full-time roles through our training programs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate front desk.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor and access records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with emergency responders when appropriate.
• Assist with reception duties, including answering phones and directing guests.
