Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel while carrying out security-related procedures at a healthcare-related facility.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and delivery records, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document actions taken.
• Support protection of sensitive work areas by observing site protocols and reporting hazards or maintenance concerns.
