Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at a front desk within a government institution by following site-specific security procedures.
• Greet visitors, verify appointments and IDs, issue visitor credentials, maintain visitor records.
• Monitor access to the facility and direct people to correct locations; communicate entry concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly per protocols.
• Maintain professional communication with staff, visitors, and public officials to deter unauthorized access.
