Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Part Time Security Officer – Visitor Check In in Omaha, NE. You will greet visitors, manage entry points, and uphold security procedures at a logistics and distribution site, ensuring a professional front desk presence.

Typical duties include verifying credentials, directing inquiries, and maintaining records while responding calmly to incidents in accordance with emergency protocols. 18.00 USD per hour with Fri/Sat night shifts available.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk of a logistics and distribution location by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor and contractor credentials, issue appropriate visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Receive and direct incoming calls, deliveries, and inquiries to appropriate personnel while maintaining a professional and courteous front-desk presence.
• Observe lobby and entry-area activity, report unusual conditions or security-related concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
