Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Newport Beach, CA to manage building access and provide front-desk security for a premier commercial property. Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 (unarmed) or 21+ (armed).
• Background checks and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial office property while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Greet visitors, verify access, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests to offices.
• Monitor lobby activity, access-control systems, cameras, alarms, and report issues per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly, following established protocols.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and shift communications; coordinate with management and leadership.
