GardaWorld Security is hiring for a Front Desk Access Control Security Officer in Pennsauken, NJ. The role involves greeting visitors, verifying IDs, issuing badges, and monitoring cameras from the front desk.

New Jersey SORA license is required. Part-time shifts are available: Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00AM-3:00PM or 3:00PM-11:00PM, 16 hours weekly, with a competitive $21.00 hourly wage and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, holidays, disability, and life

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Comfortable with computers, phones, and access control systems
• Strong attention to detail and report writing skills
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement, or front desk experience is a plus
• You have a state license if required

Responsibilities

• Staff the front desk and serve as the main point of entry for the site
• Greet employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors in a professional manner
• Verify identities and credentials before granting access
• Issue and track visitor badges and maintain accurate sign-in logs
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems from the desk
• Answer phones and direct calls, deliveries, and inquiries as needed
• Respond quickly to alarms, incidents, or potential threats
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
