GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer for Skillman, NJ. This part-time role covers Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesday overnights 11pm–7am, with a $20.00 per hour pay.

You will monitor security systems, write detailed reports, and respond to incidents. NJ SORA, work authorization, high school diploma or GED, and strong computer skills are required; CCURE 9000 and Genetec experience are a plus. Uniform provided; benefits available.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid NJ SORA
• CCURE 9000 experience preferred but not required
• Genetec experience preferred but not required
• Must have strong computer skills
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Able to pass extensive screening
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience preferred
• State license if required

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents with detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premise safety
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
• Analyze security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in emergencies
• Ensure safety of individuals and property
