Green Hills is actively looking for a hospitality-minded Part Time Receptionist to join our team in Ames, IA. The role handles incoming calls, provides information, directions, and administrative support to residents, staff and visitors, and contributes to a welcoming environment.

Schedule includes Tue/Thu 3:00pm-6:30pm, alternating Fri 3:00-6:30, and alternating Sat/Sun 10:00-2:00. Salary is $16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in an office setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage a busy telephone switchboard.
• Become knowledgeable about Green Hills to answer questions from residents and visitors.
• Use Microsoft Office to perform various clerical tasks.
• Make updates to the Green Hills app.
• Make photocopies, sell postage, send faxes, and perform other administrative tasks.
• Submit work orders and assist with technology.
