Job summary

Michaels is hiring at their AUS-WESTLAKE, TX location. The role focuses on building customer relationships and delivering custom framing solutions while helping customers find products in a well-merchandised, in-stock store environment.

Responsibilities include completing framing orders, operating the cash register, and supporting omni-channel processes. The position requires basic computer and measuring skills and framing equipment operation. Prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Build relationships with customers while creating Custom Framing solutions and deliver sales results.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they need; ensure store is well merchandised and in stock.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
