Job summary

Michaels Allentown-Quakertown store is seeking a customer-focused associate to help customers create framing solutions, assist shopping, and keep a well merchandised, in-stock store. You will process framing orders, operate the cash register, participate in truck unloading and stocking, and support Omni channel initiatives while upholding SOPs and safety.

Candidates should have basic computer and measuring skills, and retail experience is preferred; ability to lift and stand for long periods is

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic measuring skills required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance to applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for; provide a well merchandised and in-stock store for the customer to shop.
• Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget.
