Page Mechanical Group, Inc. is seeking a part-time Home Study Contractor to complete foster/adoptive home studies in Cobb and Henry counties. You will assess families, interview applicants, and prepare reports to support approvals for foster, respite, or adoptive families.

This 1099 contract averages 0-3 home study cases per month (10-30 hours per month) based on volume. Compensation is paid after each completed home study, with potential nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral or social sciences, psychology, social work or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in child welfare or licensing foster/adoptive families.

Responsibilities

• Determines suitability of prospective and current foster/adoptive home families, including psycho-social home study preparation and interviewing applicants.
• Ensures compliance with program policies and state licensing requirements.
• Identifies potential safety or legal risks and flags concerns to management.
• May recruit or train foster/adoptive parents and provide related counseling or training.
• Maintains accurate records and documentation within the agency case management system.
