Page Mechanical Group, Inc. is seeking a Home Study Specialist to complete foster and adoptive home studies, assess family readiness, and support licensing decisions.

You will interview applicants, review histories, and prepare psycho-social assessments in alignment with agency standards and state regulations. The role requires collaboration with case managers and supervisors, maintaining confidential records, and recommending additional counseling or training when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral or social sciences or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in child welfare.
• Experience with GA+SCORE and NTDC curriculum preferred, but not required.
• Must complete NTDC Leader training and SAFE Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Determines suitability of prospective and current foster care / adoptive home families.
• Assures compliance with program policies and licensing requirements.
• Alerts management to potential safety or legal risk concerns.
• Consults with agency staff on selecting homes for children and transitions.
• May recruit and train foster/adoptive parents.
• Uses computer systems to write, produce, and manage home study records; maintains accurate files.
• Maintains confidentiality and supports a team-oriented culture.
