Job summary

The Salvation Army Greensboro Corps in Greensboro, NC is seeking a part-time Food Services Manager to supervise day-to-day operations, develop menus, and maintain inventory and budgets for the program.

You will lead kitchen staff, schedule shifts, ensure meals meet health standards and recipes, and coordinate with vendors and local partners to serve nutritious meals for the facility's clients and community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Five years progressive experience in food service management with at least one year supervisory experience.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and evaluate day-to-day food service operations.
• Develop, administer, and monitor the departmental budget.
• Serve as day-time, evening or weekend manager including Manager on Duty responsibilities.
• Supervise cooking and presentation of meals to ensure health standards and proper use of leftovers.
• Liaise with food service vendors, food bank, and external contacts to support operations.
