Job summary

MAINZER is seeking a part-time Food Runner to assist the service team by delivering orders to tables, maintaining accuracy in presentation and ingredients, and communicating allergen information to guests. A strong team player with clear communication is essential for this role.

The role emphasizes helping with table setup, serving, and ensuring guests have the right dishware and utensils, while supporting front- and back-of-house operations during service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of hospitality experience preferred.
• State-issued food handling certification required where applicable.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules and procedures.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in fulfilling orders and delivering to guest tables.
• Maintain accurate knowledge of menu and ingredients; communicate allergens.
• Prepare tables with linens, silverware, and glassware.
• Serve food and beverages and assist with dish presentation.
• Ensure correct dishware and utensils are available at delivery.
• Communicate clearly between front and back of house staff.
• Clear tables and reset dining areas as needed.
• Stock dining supplies and manage breaks in service.
