Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality in Chicago is seeking part-time food runner team members to deliver and describe all food items, maintaining station cleanliness and helping the front-of-house and kitchen teams. You will interact with guests, servers, bartenders, and chefs while upholding high standards of hospitality.

The role requires 1 year of restaurant experience and experience in high-volume venues, with training in in-venue food runner procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 year restaurant experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and accommodate all needs of the guests.
• Provide professional and exceptional service.
• Deliver and describe all food items to guests in a timely manner.
• Participate in table maintenance and bussing of excessware.
• Maintain general cleanliness of stations and the venue.
• Follow supervisor’s instructions and support co-workers as a team player.
