Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality in New York, NY is seeking a part-time food runner to deliver and describe all menu items to guests, while staying attentive to allergies and dietary restrictions. You will liaise with servers, bartenders, and chefs to ensure timely, accurate service in a fast-paced venue.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge is preferred.
• Ability to write, read, and verbally communicate clearly.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and describes all food items to the guests, in a timely manner.
• Interacts with servers, cocktail servers & bartenders, and chefs to ensure hospitality.
• Maintains general cleanliness of stations and the venue.
• Solicits allergies or dietary restrictions from guests and communicates to management.
• Performs opening/closing duties, stock runner station, and supports team as needed.
