Job summary

Legends Bay Casino is seeking a Food Runner/Expo to support restaurant operations. The role focuses on fast, accurate delivery of hot food from kitchen to guests, while ensuring correct plating and timely service.

You will work closely with servers, bartenders, bussers, and management in a high-volume environment, providing friendly guest interactions and helping maintain overall dining quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry multiple plates and move quickly in a high-volume environment.
• Attention to detail to ensure correct, properly plated dishes.
• Strong communication with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Remain calm and efficient during peak service periods.
• Provide friendly, professional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Food Delivery: Deliver food orders quickly and accurately to the correct tables while maintaining proper temperature and presentation standards.
• Quality Control: Verify each dish against order tickets, ensuring accuracy, proper garnishing, portioning, and overall plate presentation before leaving the kitchen.
• Communication: Serve as a liaison between kitchen and service staff, clearly communicating special requests, dietary restrictions, and order modifications.
• Table Support: Assist in setting and maintaining tables, including providing utensils, napkins, and share plates; refill beverages and help clear dishes as needed.
• Kitchen Assistance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo and kitchen stations; assist with polishing utensils and completing side work.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with servers, bartenders, bussers, and management to ensure smooth, coordinated service.
• Guest Interaction: Provide friendly, professional service by responding to guest needs and contributing to a positive dining experience.
