Job summary

Gator's Dockside Restaurants is hiring a Food Runner/Expo to support the dining team. You will be the final quality-check point between kitchen and guests, delivering orders promptly and accurately while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

You will liaise with front and back-of-house teams, communicate special requests to cooks, and ensure safe serving temperatures. This role emphasizes guest interactions and operational efficiency within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering guest service with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately.
• Act as the liaison between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
• Communicate food orders to cooks, noting priorities and special requests (e.g. allergies).
• Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. correct temperature).
• Remove dirty dishes and utensils.
• Answer guests' questions about ingredients and menu items.
• Inform staff about customers' feedback or requests (e.g. check).
