Job summary

Community Action Center of Northfield Inc in Pullman, WA is seeking a part-time Food Bank Support role under the supervision of the Community Food Manager. The position supports day-to-day Food Bank operations, including stocking shelves, preparing food boxes, and assisting with deliveries and pickups as needed.

Responsibilities include organizing the Food Bank, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, weighing and logging donations, and assisting with distributions.

Qualifications

• Organize Food Bank as directed.
• Stock shelves and prep food boxes for distributions.
• Assist with home deliveries as needed.
• Assist in delivery/pick up of overflow food to other agencies within town.
• Organize and assist with Food Bank cleaning and sanitizing.
• Glean through produce to redistribute to customers.
• Food preservation and food repacking as directed.
• Unload delivery trucks.
