Job summary

Indy Fiber And Surface Cleaning is seeking a dependable floor tech to keep floors in client facilities clean and polished, including stripping, waxing, buffing, cleaning carpets, and dusting baseboards. You will operate floor machines and help maintain supplies while following safety procedures.

The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to work independently or with a team, with emphasis on attention to detail and strong customer service to support client sites.

A floor tech, also known as a floor care technician or a custodian, is an important member of the Indy Fiber team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of floors in various facilities.

Primary Responsibilities Of a Floor Tech

• Stripping, waxing, and buffing floors
• Cleaning and sanitizing floors and carpets
• Dusting baseboards, vents, and other surfaces
• Operating floor machines, such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet extractors
• Maintaining supplies and inventory
• Following safety procedures

Secondary responsibilities

• Cleaning restrooms, lobbies, and other areas
