Job summary

Buckeye Commons Care & Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant/Floor Technician to help keep floors clean and safe for residents and staff. You will perform sweeping, mopping, buffing, and basic custodial duties while supporting the care team in a dynamic facility setting.

The role emphasizes a part-time schedule with opportunities to contribute across housekeeping and maintenance tasks, ensuring a well-run environment for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Strong attention to detail required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wax, strip, and buff floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Restock supplies and materials as needed.
• Perform custodial tasks, such as emptying trash and recycling bins, and restocking paper products.
• Assist with other tasks as needed, such as laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance.
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations.
